Fresh, Healthy, Artisan Breads made in the Gunnison, Colorado

Our goal is to provide artisan breads using ingredients from local farmers in Colorado to sustainably make healthy breads. We use Mountain Mama Organic flours produced by the Groser Family in Monte Vista, Colorado and ingredients from Paonia, Colorado farmers in our compound breads and whole wheat partries. Every morning before the sun rises we are hard at work making healthy, fresh breads to deliver to local restaurants and grocers. We take pride and passion in our work, loving what we do and sharing it with others.

Our Whole Wheat

Is made with... "Mountain Mama Organic whole wheat flours grown and stone-ground in Monte Vista, Colorado. The Gosar Ranch is located on the rich, beautiful alluvial plain of the San Louis Valley, at 7600 feet high in the Rockies. The air is clean and pure, the sun is bright and the days are long during the growing season. The water used for irrigation comes from the melted snow that forms the headwaters of the Rio Grande river. The Gosar family, firmly believes that nutrition is the very foundation of a healthy life and therefore have tried to produce the highest quality products available today." - Grosar Family Farms

Our Other Ingredients

The Luna Bakery also uses an unbleached and unbromated high-gluten enriched flour which is grown in North Dakota. This flour contains wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin and folic acid.

When it all possible when creating compound breads or pasteries we try to use ingredients such as fresh herbs, fruit and cheese that are produced by local farmers.
